Not only did we celebrate on Sunday with the fam, but I got a cute card from Gramma! (Thanks! I loved it!)
AND yesterday when I came home from work, there was this cute package waiting for me at the door! I got a bunch of fun things from Mom and Dad Backerman! A new sweater I'm wearing today! A check for a shopping trip it (my favorite place) IKEA! A gorgeous handmade handkerchief made my Great Grandma Cahill, and temple recommend holders made my Grandma Knell (and of course cards with sweet messages from Mom and Dad!)
Next, after our apt. with the staff at Planet Fitness (of which we're new members) we got a workout schedule and tools to help us in our efforts to be healthy!Then off to Bed, Bath and Beyond to pick up a shelf unit and use the rest of our gift cards.
Then, back home so Mac could make me a birthday cake.
He had to call his mom to get the recipe... and wouldn't tell me what it was! Argggg... he only titled it BCP. Yeah, like I'm supposed to know what that is.
All of my guesses were wrong. (Banana Cream Pie, Bavarian Cream Pudding, Butter Cream Popcorn, Best Chocolate Pizza...) Go figure...
Turns out it was BOSTON CREAM PIE!

I LOVE sprinkles, so Mac generously topped my Birthday Cake with the perfect amount of sprinkles!
Meanwhile, I put together our new shelf. It's a perfect addition to our kitchen.(Now we just have to figure out what should go on the shelves. :)

Today I received my B-Day Present from Grandpa -:) Really--from Heaven -:)Its a beautiful tan-colored Glider Rocker and Ottoman!Now, the real scoop is--I went to STORK LANDING this morning for their Sidewalk Sale--first I called them on the phone to see if they had any glider rockers! Yep, and on Sale !
So I drove up, sat in this one, loved it and bought it! They delivered it to me at 2 p.m. today.
You definately need a plant on that bare shelf, it would look great with the red wall background! The B-day pie looks awesome, what a great hubby!!
Happy Birthday Tori! I was looking for you at church because I had a little birthday thing for you! I guess I will need to drop it by! I hope you had a great birthday! Looks like you did!
Next time I see you in church you'll have to tell me how you like planet fitness, I want to try and go there after I'm done nursing.

We love working out at Planet Fitness... though we still have yet to learn how to use the weight equipment. So far we've just worked out on the bikes, treadmills & ellipticals.
