Friday night - Mac suggested we find someone to watch the sweet pea and head out to redeem a gift card his folks gave us for our anniversary. Mom was busy - they were going to Smithfield to watch a baseball game. Next we tried Anna and family. SUCCESS! They were VERY agreeable!
We dropped the nipper off a little after 6 and headed north. On the way I saw a LONG line at Olive Garden... I was hoping we wouldn't have a long wait at Chili's.
When we arrived, there was no wait and we walked right in and were immediately seated. Mac ordered some mini corn tacos and I had the steak sandwich. YUM!
I decided I had a little sweet tooth and suggested we go to the USU Dairy - since I had a little money on my staff card. To enjoy our tasty treats we headed over to the cemetery and enjoyed them on Grandma DeVona's and Grandpa Merrill's Memorial Bench. It was good weather and very peaceful. What a refreshing evening!
Thanks Anna and family for letting us escape for a few hours!
