I just got home from my monthly HOA board meeting. I've been a trustee for a little less than 4 months and tonight we had elections since the President is moving away from the area. We voted to reorganized the Executive Board (positions for President, Treasurer, & Secretary).
I was shocked (that's a major understatement) to learn that I've been voted in as the new Secretary. Yikes! Turns out it was unanimous (except for my vote). I had no clue the other Board Members would even conciser me since I'm the newcomer.
The shock hasn't worn off yet, but deep down I'm excited about the new opportunity and excited to serve in my new capacity.

Sure glad you're better now, and that PPaz is back home, and that you have a loving Hubby to comfort you! Duane also replaced all 4 globes in here--one burned out this morning, so I 'went' to all 4 new ones.
