Best Parents-in-laws EVER!

When Mac's folks were here for a week to welcome little Zoey, they bought us a crib! It arrived a few days ago. Mac put it together, and now little Zoey has a big place to sleep all by herself! That coupled with the mobile Wenda gave us makes for sweet dreams!

3 Weeks Old!

Our little Zoey is 3 weeks!

She's getting bigger (just over 10 lbs now).
She's still been fussy - so we're working on solutions so I can get more than 3 hours of sleep a night.She's getting cuter every day and is very efficient at thwarting our first attempts to give her, her bottle. She's getting skilled at moving our arms and hands and her loves to kick (so she feels better from the extra gas in her little tummy).We've been on walks with the stroller and even braved a trip to Tremonton this week to see family. We're getting more brave every day to venture out.

2 Weeks Old!

Wow! Zoey's already 2 weeks old and weighs in at a whopping 9 lbs!

We were expecting not to get much sleep upon her arrival, and we were right. Cute little fussy thing. She's on meds... so hopefully they'll kick in soon and do the trick.

I'm glad I have 6 weeks before going back to work since I stay up all night - get up late, and try to have naps when she does during the day.

Monday night Zoey was the star of her own photo shoot in a studio - we can't wait to see how they turn out! We sure do have a lot of fun with Clarissa!

1 Week Old!

Zoey's 1 week old today. Where has the time gone?
Gramma and Papa left to go home to Missouri today. We're going to miss them! It's been a treat to have them visit everyday. They've been VERY generous to us and Zoey.

Sleeping in Style!

No more pictures, please!

Zoey has discovered her hands and likes to flail them when possible. She tries to help hold up her bottle and we play wrestling wars to get control over her dinner. That coupled with her strong neck and head thrashes - makes for interesting feeding times.

I know you're wondering how Princess Paz is handling all the changes.
She's adjusting pretty well. Last night she found her treat bag that I hid under the covers of the spare bed. She grabbed it and took it to an undisclosed location for a midnight snack. She doesn't like to be near little people - but has come over to sniff Zoey when she's sleeping. (I'm just so glad Zoey's not allergic to the cat!)
